Last weeks storms confirmed results of tree assessments based on wind-tipping-curves and static pulling tests.

Beech failed in storm.

Measurements of basal inclination had identified 2 out of 9 trees as at a risk of failure. In the following figure published in 2019 these two trees are easily recognized:
